Customer Review: If you want to do more than print, it will waste hours of your time.
This seems like a deal on paper, affordable for what it does, but having owned these machines and other OfficeJet Pro models, I can say the amount of time wasted on these things is worth much more than the cost of a better machine. Our company purchased three of these for remote offices, and all were supreme headaches. All but one has been totally replaced (and the replacements came with there own headaches). I'll just list a few of the issues we had. Faxes are totally unreliable and frequently lock up the whole printer. PDF scans over 2 pages almost always lock up the whole printer. The paper feeder on the second tray and and the document feeder both require frequent cleaning or they start jamming or pulling pages sideways. All of them ended up with marks on the scanning window for the document feeder, resulting in lines down every pages. Expensive print heads failed without warning, even brand new ones, though HP did replace some after hours on the phone. The drivers are massive, do very little and crash frequently. I have no idea why HP thinks printer drivers need to be so intrusive. HP's support is no help and will take hours of your day before doing anything that might remedy a situation. My recommendation is to avoid at all cost, it's nothing but a plastic headache.
Customer Review: So far, so good.
Installation was fairly simple, did experience problems with what turned out to be the software. During installation, computer kept crashing during installation of software. Luckily we had installed a like product in our office, so we had an extra copy of software since I suspected this was my problem. When installing another copy of software, installation was completed without any problem. Thus far I am pleased with this product.

Waste recycling is more about process than anything else. Most folks think of waste recycling as an environmental endeavor and a necessity, but it is so much more than that really. In large companies, there is always some production waste, but in reality there should be none. Waste should be looked at as evil and inefficient, and well, unacceptable. Zero waste should be as important to a company as Zero Defects.

Every time a company has to pay for the removal of waste or disposal of hazardous materials it loses tremendous amounts of money and high costs of removing those chemicals. However, if those chemicals can be further refined and sold as something else or sold to another company that may use that chemical in their manufacturing process, well, everyone wins.

Everything the company uses in the manufacturing process may contain at least some waste and this is where a good productivity consultant comes in handy because they can consider all the different chemicals and products or scrap that are created during the process and then consider how these excess pieces, chemicals or scrap can be used.

You see, recycling is the science but it is also an art and sometimes you need to get a little creative in order to maintain 100% efficiency and use all the materials. There is always some need for every piece of scrap, no matter how small it might be. Companies that spend time monitoring their waste and find ways to use it to their advantage will be the companies that survive in the new millennium.

Think of it this way; Waste and Inefficiency = Bad or Evil
